Big update. New gameplay changes, new vehicles, weapons, zombies and more

[Mapping]

- New gameplay locations

- New Area 51 (without water)

- New world textures

- Many old objects have been redesigned (buildings, etc.)

- Added new buildings, trees and other objects

- Many old gamplay locations / mapping have been changed

- Roads are slightly cleared from obstacles, some roads are now unblocked

- Added interior for all hospitals

* Added lots of new locations with medical loot

- Added new high ladders in drained parts of the map (to easily go up and down)

[Stalker]

Added new really big location outside standard game map

Completely separate gameplay based on the famous game "S.T.A.L.K.E.R." with its own look and feel

This area is located in the left side of the map (water). Connected to the island and there are 3 entrance points from the main part of the map

- The player gets radiation poisoning every second of being in this area during radiation burst

* Different levels of radiation in different parts of this map

* The burst (release) of radiation starts every 2 hours and lasts 1 hour (during this time the level of radiation gradually decreases)

* A warning siren sounds just before the release of radiation and the weather changes after the release

* Buildings can protect against radiation (except for some powerful radiation sources like hurricane)

* The water is always radioactive, radiation level depends on how deep the player is in

* The player receives 2 times more radiation on a boat or high in the air above the location

* Geiger counter (sound) notifies about radiation exposure or closeness to radiation sources (higher frequency - more dangerous)

** You can turn off this sound by typing /geiger

- Radiation exposure limits the maximum amount of blood

* For example, if radiation exposure is 50% then maximum blood level will be 6000 (the standard is 12000)

* The level of exposure is displayed in the debug monitor (F5) as well as inside the blood icon (it visually shows the maximum level of blood)

* Player's current blood level gradually decreases to a new maximum during gameplay (if radiation exposure is > 0%)

* To restore the maximum level of blood (to be fully healed) you have to use new types of loot (RAD Away, Medic Kit RAD, etc.). It's described in [Loot] category. New loot spawns on this location

* A radioactive player poisons other players nearby (limited to this new area so it shouldn't hurt regular gameplay)

- New weather system was designed to create a unique atmosphere in this area

* The weather changes smoothly and quickly when you enter the area

* Added atmospheric sounds for different objects on the location

* It's recommended to enable clouds in User Panel (F2) for maximum immersion

- Various anomalies are scattered everywhere. If you interact with it then the gravity might change for a second or it can blind you, break your leg, set you on fire

* Visually represented as various game effects

* Each anomaly is a separate source of radiation (the closer to the anomaly, the more radiation player receives)

* 6 dangerous radioactive hurricanes are raging in this area (visually visible + marked on the map)

* The number and positions of anomalies changes during radiation burst (at the start new anomalies are created on new positions and in the process the amount decreases to 30%)

- You can find new dangerous zombies in this area (listed in [Zombies] category)

- "STALKER Key" may appear in the corpses of killed zombies or bots in this location. These keys are required to open new loot boxes. Total number of keys found is displayed in "Hints" panel (F9). These keys can't be shared / stored in tents

* Visual effect will be created on top of dead body if key dropped

- 5 new closed boxes with loot (light, medium and high) are hidden in this area. The approximate location of light and medium loot boxes is displayed on the map as white circles (search area). If someone opens the box this circle is removed

[Zombies]

- Mini Bloodsucker

- Vanoga (damages the player by screaming, new stun effect)

- Bloater (radioactive zombie, new radiation exposure effect)

- Sunflower (zombie with a lantern instead of a head, blinds the player)

- Kicker (player is bounced on hit)

- Cheerleader

[Loot]

- Removed "Moto Tire" (converted into "Tire")

- "Hooker Suit" renamed into "Nikki Suit"

- Added "Tracks" component for tracked vehicles (Broadway, Dozer)

- RAD Bottle (can be used with military trap, can be thrown, infects with radiation if you drink it or if it explodes after you throw it)

- Hazmat Repair Kit (used to repair damaged "Hazmat Suit", converts "DAM" version of a suit into normal one)

- BS Egg ("Bloodsucker Egg", can be thrown, spawns a new temporary zombie "Mini Bloodsucker" after you throw it)

- STALKER Key ("STALKER" key, required to open new loot boxes)

- New weapons:

* M249 TWS LMG (machine gun, base damage 4555, optional thermal vision, tracer)

** To switch into thermal vision mode you have to use "F" while aiming (added new weapon mode)

* MG4 (machine gun, base damage 5500, very fast firing rate)

* MR155 (rifle, base damage 4500)

* M21 (rifle, base damage 3999)

* M16A4 Rusty (rifle, base damage 3555)

* M39 EMR (rifle, base damage 7999, slow firing rate)

* Elephant Shotgun (powerful double-barreled shotgun that rips peds into pieces on kill [new effect])

* INJECTION: Z-DEF-50 (reduces damage from zombies by 50% for 2 hours)

* INJECTION: P-SCREAM (protection against zombie scream for 2 hours)

* INJECTION: BS-VIS (increases the visibility of bloodsuckers for 2-10 hours)

* INJECTION: S-RAD (reduces received radiation by 95% for 24 hours)

* INJECTION: P-STL (anomalies protection for 4 hours)

* Antibiotics X3 (protection against infection for 3 hours)

* Antibiotics X5 (protection against infection for 5 hours)

* Stop RAD 5 (reduces received radiation by 5% for 5 minutes)

[Weapons and new shooting system]

- All weapon properties (firing rate, distance, etc.) were changed (adapted properties of real weapons for the game)

* Now the shooting itself will be felt differently

* FPS limit will no longer seriously affect firing rate

- Added support for different firing rate for rifles and pistols

- New effective firing distance system (damage reduction based on distance)

* Added new parameter "HS" (headshot kill distance)

* 3 properties for distance based damage calculation: minimum effective distance, maximum distance and new parameter for headshots ("HS")

* Different launch speed of "HE" grenades (affects throwing range)

* Distance check added for zombies, bots, animals and cars (previously only for players)

- Different damage to different body parts added for zombies and bots (previously only for players)

- New vehicle damage system

* Fire no longer damages vehicles (maybe temporary)

* Improved sync and damage handling

* New vehicle armor handling. Additionally armored vehicle model will no longer be damaged during gameplay

* Collision damage is standardized and now depends on vehicle type (military vehicles receive the least damage)

* Incoming damage will be displayed for the driver ("Show damage" checkbox)

- If all passengers were killed by the explosion the vehicle will be blown up automatically (regardless of vehicle's health)

- New settings (handling) for all replaced cars and many old cars

- Some basic vehicles will spawn in nearly assembled state (to make it easier to get cars)

- Respawn time of paid cars after explosion increased to 5-10 minutes

- Disabled option of driving backwards without engine running

- Added new vehicle menu option to remove attached C4s (just how flags are removed)

- Tuning garage: Added new paid feature to increase the maximum amount of armor up to 4 armor bars (8000)

* This option is not available for paid cars

- Added new option to launch 1 rocket instead of a full pack for BM-21 "Grad" (Packer)

* New targeting algorithm (changes the spread of rockets in order to get more condense area covering)

[Character]

- Added 15 new camouflages and 13 new faces for male character (levels starting from 2)

- New textures for all Ghillie suits

- New hero skin

- New Ghillie suits (different model):

* Ghillie Mossy MIL (Green)

* Ghillie Desert MIL (Desert)

- New variants of "Tactical vest":

* Tactical vest Co (brown pixel)

- New radiation protection suits (if removed after exposure it turns into damaged ("DAM") version):

* Hazmat Suit L1 (reduces received radiation by 30%)

* Hazmat Suit L2 (reduces received radiation by 70%)

* Hazmat Suit L3 (reduces received radiation by 90%)

* The damaged version of this suit protects 2 times less effectively than the normal one

- New gas masks (basic radiation protection by 10%, can't be used with "Hazmat Suit" or "Bomb Suit"):

- New character equipment system

* All equipment items re-converted and standardized

* New attachment algorithm (everything has been reconfigured from scratch, now all equipment objects properly repeat character movements)

* The size of equipment objects adjusted to skin size (mostly for smaller female skins)

* Experimental: equipment lighting now adjusts to skin lighting (gets darker in dark places and vice versa)

[Other]

- Optimization, optimization, optimization

- New login cameras (with zombies and cars like in the good old days)

- Flare (from Flare gun) now sets player / vehicle on fire on direct hit

- Added more detailed information about the reason server doesn't allow certain actions to be performed (error details)

* In general a lot of work has been done to make the gamemode more informative (new hints and other information)

* Most hints from notifications system were moved to the chat

- Different amount of "score" for killing bots / zombies (now based on class)

- Added respawn delay for zombies / bots if any player is within spawn range (should give players more time to loot locations)

- New randomized zombies crowd system (new coordinates, new skins, chat notification)

- Changed the principle of spawning zombies around broken equipment, boxes, towers, etc.

- Now most zombies can see crawling player at close range

* Visibility indicators change color to alert you about the danger (red = time to run)

- Added death animation for dogs and animals

- Added ramming death animation for zombies / bots (killed by vehicle)

- Added old headshot animation (now it's the only one, no randomness)

- Returned the option to fill a Water Bottle in shallow water (without immersion)

- Added new flags: Portugal, Hungary, Algeria, Iran

- You can now drop full amount of selected item onto the ground by holding ALT or RMB

- You can now change the size of icons (including GPS) via interface constructor (F2)

- For new players the default key that opens Inventory is now "TAB" (the list of players moved to "CAPSLOCK")

* You can always change keys via User Panel (F2 -> Keys)

- New icons of inventory items

- GPS related changes

* Added different zoom level for vehicles (map zoomed out)

* Added alternative character icon from single player game (you can change it via interface constructor in F2)

* The nicknames of players that use /rush will disappear from the screen automatically after 10 seconds (the arrow above the player will not be removed)

** It will also be hidden by default if you use the same vehicle

* Improved the quality of loot points on the map

- Map related changes

* Experimental: Added PVP activity circles (where players die frequently)

* Added new icons for various locations (roadblocks, bunkers and other places with good loot). Icons appear during gameplay as you find new places (the question mark turns into the icon) (optional)

* Added icons of bases (optional) + pickups near bases with information

* Added text description for all icons (displayed on hover)

* To move the map now you have to hold left mouse button

* You can focus on specific part of the map by holding right mouse button and selecting the area

* Zoom without cursor enabled focuses the map on player's position

* The pointer is now removed automatically after approaching (optional)

* Other sources of fuel (barrels) have been added to the list of gas stations

* Higher resolution map for "ultra" graphics quality

* The map has been shifted so the water on the right does not take up extra space anymore

* Added icon for player's corpse

* New icons (redesign)

- New features / checkboxes in User Panel (F2)

* Option to enable permanent crosshair (displayed when not aiming)

* Option to enable automatic Q-Bug (current weapon switches to fist immediately after you stop aiming)

* Option to disable automatic use of vertical ladders

** In addition, now you can start using the ladder in the top part by pressing "F" near the ladder

* Option to use high resolution textures for LODs (not recommended for low end PCs)

* Option to use new low poly trees separately from "low" graphics quality

* Option to disable smoke effects (useful for low end PCs)

** Compared to visually hiding effects by game modification, this option actually removes smoke effects, i.e. FPS increase will be higher than if you replace the texture of effect to a blank one

* Removed "Default vehicles" option (due to imbalance and abuse of related bugs)

* Default FPS is now 100

* Added "Account" tab with information about account data recovery and player's serial number

- Added "Utilities" panel [command /tools] (you can now send reports to us from the game, mute players and save coordinates)

* Tab "Report a violation" [command /report] allows you to send us information about violations of project rules

** All reports about ongoing violations are now required to be sent through this new system, chat reports (as well as most other reports) will not be accepted in private messages anymore

* Tab "Mutes" [command / mute] allows you to disable the visibility of messages or voice chat of a specific player (for yourself)

* Tab "Coordinates" [command /coords] allows you to save coordinates on the map (with 3D icon and short description)

** Convenient to use to save the exact location of tents you put (this option is also available through tent's menu)

- Update of bases management panel (F7)

* Added information about expiration date (leasing term)

* Added new button to update permissions list on demand (in case some problems occur during loading or saving)

* The "Market" tab has been modified + new confirmation window for all important actions (protection against accidental purchases)

* Added the option to extend the lease of not unique vehicles (Bobcat, etc.)

* Market list is now updated automatically (for example if some car has become available then it should immediately appear in the list)

* A paid vehicle from the market can no longer be re-spawned if it's in use (receives damage or driving)

** You should be more careful now to not leave cars unattended

* The same base can no longer rent the same vehicle after expiration for about 10 minutes (gives a chance for other bases to rent it first)

- All bases with issues were redesigned (about cases when players with access were randomly thrown out of the base)

* We also made walls deeper for some bases so you can place more tents

- All objects inside bases are now visible only to players with access (except for the space between the gates)

* Due this optimization it's no longer recommended to use objects for protection, just close all gates..

- Added new universal controls to open / close the nearest gate

* 2 new controls added to the list of keys (F2 User Panel -> Keys) (not assigned by default)

* It may not work properly for bases with elevators

- Barbed wire fences (and other objects with barbed wire like barriers) will damage the player now

- Added new buttons for players list (tab) to open mutes or report a violation (with the option to select a player directly from the list)

- New user-friendly interface for "Camouflage Kit" (masks selection)

- New more informative interface for BM-21 "Grad" (Packer) missiles loading platform (located at the old airport)

- Added additional description for some loot items (type of grenade, mortar, etc.)

- Added information about suitable weapons for all ammo items

- Improved items search in Loot Shop (F1)

- Added new option to create the event for all loot items from a tent (loot from the tent will be dropped in form of "Air Drop" at certain coordinates)

* You need to save the coordinates of specific place using /coord command (go to the place and enter this command into local chat [T])

- Added old classic compass as alternative (switches by pressing "K")

- Debug monitor strip (alternative mode) can be enabled by pressing "F5" again

- New lighter hits effect (bloody screen edges)

- Added information about real skill boost values (to not confuse with skill progress)

- If you camouflage yourself with the blood of the boss then the dogs will protect you

- New blood camouflage texture

- New player spawns

- Reduced actions blocking time after you fire or receive damage (for example now you can use medic kit faster after taking damage or firing)

- Kills of team members will not be counted anymore

- The limit for joining a new team is now 3 days (after leaving the old one)

- Returned CJ muscle pumping (the heavier the inventory the faster your muscles appear)

- CJ with muscles can damage players by fists

- Removed additional explosions around the vehicle (when vehicle explodes)

* This will allow Bomb Suit to withstand the explosion of the car in some cases

- Added new quest task "return to helper" (any bot that gives missions) for quests with loot as reward

* Loot point will be created near the bot so you can take it safely

- Loot items from crashed vehicles and boxes will now be counted for quests

- Quests overlay will be hidden by default if there are no active quests

- Added the option to gut an animal corpse with an Ax

- The spawn location of crashed vehicles is now selected taking into account the absence of players nearby

- Explosion of a large amount of C4s is now delayed (solves multiple issues when game sometimes considered several explosions as one)

- Added "mute reason" after login (essentially player's message that was the reason for mute)

- Removed daily limit for special skills boosting

- Player's lifetime ("alive time") will now be counted only if player moves (activity check)

- Experimental method to increase responsiveness of killing zombies / bots

- Player gets 1% score boost for every 8 hours of lifetime

* Different score for different bots (from 3 to 23 based on class)

- Hero skin gives additional 1% score boost (bonus)

- New karma (humanity) system

* Different amount of karma for killing different zombies / bots based on class (from 1 to 600 points)

* Every minute of active gameplay the amount of karma increases by 2 (up to 2500)

* For using: Bandage = +3, Painkiller = +2, Morphine = +5, Adrenaline = +1, Blood Bag = +5

* For every hour of playing bonus: +50

* For completing the quest: +500

* For killing bandit: +(1500-3000)

* For killing zombie player: +50

* For killing recently re-spawned player: -3000

* For killing regular players: -(1000-2500)

* To get "Hero skin" you need 10000 points (previously 5000)

[Bugs] (fixed) (the list is not complete)

- Sometimes default MTA map appears and can't be closed

- Sometimes there is no sound of reloading or it gets duplicated

- No police car siren sound

- Helicopter with bots sounds remains after re-spawn

- Air vehicle alarm sound sometimes not ending

- The sound of car ignition turns on for a second when the engine is off (when player takes a driving seat)

- Player skin twitches while looking around (when ALT is pressed)

- Some stashes can't be collected (have been moved to different places)

- Not smooth movement of the night sky ("Enhanced sky" checkbox)

- Nicknames of players that use /rush are displayed on top of all windows even when GPS is not visible

- Sometimes the camouflage selected in character editor disappears

- Sometimes the player's weapon remains in the air after death

- Some trees fall incorrectly (chopping)

- Flipped boats sometimes don't re-spawn

- Inventory actions are blocked until reconnect ("the previous operation is not completed")

- The car is always on fire under protection in the base

- Dangerous animals attack zombie players

- Sometimes the player doesn't die instantly with blood = 0

- Zombie bodies sometimes don't disappear and don't re-spawn

- Sometimes the black and white effect remains after turning off

- Sometimes the effect of thermal or night vision remains after death

- Sometimes zombies don't immediately fall to the ground when killed by vehicle

- Bodies of killed bloodsuckers sometimes remain transparent (invisible)

- Debug monitor sometimes moves after reconnect

- Sometimes you can damage a zombie even after its death

- Zombies can't hear heavy machine gun fire

- If you accidentally throw loot from the tent on the ground it often appears inside the tent and inaccessible

- A vehicle with heavy machine gun sometimes collides with "invisible objects" in the air

- In some cases medical loot doesn't work (infection or bleeding is not removed)

- In some cases after several reconnects user config data is lost (character settings, binds, etc.)
