Major update. Gameplay changes, new atmosphere, new vehicles, new weapons, zombies, and more
As usual, the list of changes is not complete. Some things have been lost, forgotten, or not recorded
[Mapping]
- Most of the mapping in all cities has been redone
- Water has been returned in some sectors of the map
- A new large area has been added to Stalker County
- A small bunker at the old Stalker location can now be opened with a special key card (loot)
* The bunker can be opened every 8 hours
* After opening the bunker with the key card, loot will spawn in a box at the location
* The gate opens for one minute and closes automatically when there are no players nearby
- A large new type of bunker has been added under AREA 51, which extends to the Verdant Meadows Airfield
- A crashed pickup truck with military bots has been added (spawns randomly at different points on the map)
* 1-3 pickups can spawn at the location at one time
* A static machine gun is installed in the trunk of the pickup truck
- Special boxes (delivery points), loudspeakers, and generators have been added to various locations
* Delivery points are used to complete certain quests: loot delivery
* To open a delivery point, the generator at the location must be refueled [running]
* We decided not to describe the specific details of this new game mechanic - you will learn about it in the game
- There is no point in listing all mapping changes as there are too many
[Atmosphere]
- New textures of the game world + more replaced textures
- Lots of new thematic mapping objects
- All old mapping objects are visually updated and optimized
- We added dynamic shadows for many custom objects
* These shadows will now be enabled by default on ultra graphics
* In the next few small patches we plan to add these shadows for all common mapping objects
- New weather system with many details and new effects
* 30 weathers with different style [bright, dark] and different render distance
* Now weather changes smoothly every 30 minutes which should improve the visual perception of the game
* Added an additional cloud layer, new clouds
* Added the sun - used for some weathers
* Rain is returned: a new, more optimized version with various effects
* Rain extinguishes campfires with a new effect
* Zombies have poor vision and hearing during rain
* Some weather conditions lower player's body temperature faster [cold]
* Redesigned thunder and lightning system
* Improved synchronization of all weather events
- Trees can now fall randomly during gameplay
- Adding new mapping spikes that puncture car tires
- Random groups of zombies and bots can now spawn in different locations on the map
* 3 class groups and amount: easy [3-5], medium [2-4] and hard [2-4]

* Positions and classes change once a day
- The map now has random zombie spawn positions (any class)
[Zombies]
- All zombies now can activate mines, traps, military traps and tripwires
* When a zombie dies from a mine or trap, it explodes into pieces [the damage is the same as for players]
- Zombies now take damage from fire (and explode into pieces upon death)
- Added many new zombies with different abilities and effects:
* Fat Banshee (health: 8000) (damage: 2500-3000) (runs slowly) (kicks player into the air on hit)
* Ghoul (health: 7000) (damage: 3000) (radioactive zombie) (5%)
* Screamer (health: 14000) (damage: 1000) (runs 20% faster) (damages player by screaming)
* Twilight Terror (health: 10000) (damage: 3000, at night: 4500) (runs 10% faster at night)
* Castle Ghoul (health: 11000) (damage: 4000) (runs 30% slower)

* Lab Biter (health: 9000) (damage: 4000-5000) (if you coat yourself with this zombie's blood then medical, police, and military zombies will not see you)
* Creeper (health: 2000) (damage: 1000-2000)
* Haunt Stalker (health: 12000) (damage: 3000-4000) (after this zombie is killed it spawns mini bloodsucker with an explosion effect) (always fast)
* Vandal (health: 7000) (damage: 1300)
- Added a new boss "Radzilla" (health: 1000000) (radioactive within a 100m radius) (deals 300 radiation units by default)
* When damaged, the boss's radioactivity increases by 150
* After death, a radioactive cloud is created with a radius of 300m, 1500 radiation units for 10 seconds
* Radiation from the boss's corpse is 300 units within a radius of 50m
- Added a new type of bot "Hazmat Soldier" (does not attack players in Hazmat Suit) (spawn in Stalker County)
- Improved movements synchronization of zombies, bots and animals
- Completely new animal movement logic
* Animals now move in a more varied manner
* Animals will now return to their spawn point after a certain amount of time if there are no players nearby
* Animal sounds have been updated
- Friendly (kind) bots now kill bandits
- Players wearing hero clothes can use weapons near friendly bots
- Peds attack logic has been reworked: zombie - bot, bot - zombie (there is no longer peace between zombies and bots)
- When you fish in the radiation zone (Stalker County) there is a chance of catching a zombie
- If you die in Stalker County you have a chance of turning into the zombie that killed you (20%)
- Added 3D maps that display positions of zombie crowds and bosses
* There are several types of maps, it's placed in thematic locations on the map
- Zombies can now hear shots from a static machine gun
- Zombies now react to car horns at long distances
- Military and friendly bots now have different skins (military bots mainly wear masks)
- The number of score points for killing zombies has been changed (now each class has a different number of points)
- Bonus score points are awarded for killing all zombies of a group
* A group of zombies is located within a checkpoint on the road, military base and other places
* Each group of zombies is marked with an icon on the map
* Zombie crowds are divided into 3 groups according to difficulty: easy, medium and hard
* When you damage zombies of a specific group, a progress bar appears on the screen indicating the state of clearing this location
* Only one player can receive bonus score points
- Now more loot items are spawned in dead zombie bodies

- Added Hammer (damage: 30000) (not infinite, designed for 10 hits) (explodes the victim to pieces)

* In addition to killing, it allows you to chop trees faster

[Crafting]
- Completely redesigned loot crafting system
- Any loot can now be crafted inside a tent (so you don't have to clutter your inventory with everything you need)
- To craft newly added loot, you need the design for that loot

[Trading]
- A trading area has been added where you can exchange and buy loot
- The trader offers 20 items for purchase (the list of items changes once a day)
- To buy loot from the trader you need "Tooth" (loot)
* You can find "Tooth" inside zombie bodies: from 0 to 10, depending on the zombie class
* Another way to get "Tooth" is to sell your loot to the trader
* The amount of loot the trader has is limited
- The trader's prices are based on the virtual money (vm) price of the item
* When there are many players online, prices decrease: up to -30%
* If a player kills a trader, the trader increases prices by 5% for the killer
* Friendly bots are used to protect the green zone. If a bot is killed, the trader increases prices by 2% for the killer
* The price increase value decreases by 1% every 10 minutes of gameplay
- Added TOP-5 for traders and "Tooth" collectors

- The size of the Maverick helicopter blades has been reduced
- Dozer, Tanker, and Linerunner now knock down trees (if you crash into them at speed)
- The handling (settings) of many vehicles has been changed according to player suggestions
- The spawn coordinates of some vehicles have been changed due to mapping changes
[Quests]
- Maximum character level: 20
- 72 new quests added to level 14
- 8 new quests added to level 11 (for balancing)
- Added 3 new template based quests (killing crowds of zombies) for all existing levels up to 20
- New quests use new types of tasks and conditions (examples):
* Drive a car
* Catch a fish
* Kill using static machine guns
* Killing a crowd of zombies: counted by the last killed zombie from the crowd
* Killing groups of zombies: checkpoints, bunkers, military bases and others
* Using loot: for example, eating a specific food
* Delivering loot to a specified location on the map
* Refueling a specified generator
* Loot a specific loot point
* Spend a specified amount of vm
- Added new Daily quests
* These quests are changed (generated) once a day
* If the player does not complete the quest before new ones are generated, it's canceled
* Quests may be limited to a specific location and type of zombie/bot groups
* For quests in Stalker County the number of score points is 30% higher
* For quests in bunkers the number of score points is 2 times higher
- Currently there are 5 types of daily quests:
* Clearing locations: killing all zombies and bots in a specified location, delivering specific loot to this location
* Killing zombie crowds of a specific type
* Killing animals, gutting them and cooking Raw Meat using fireplace
* Killing basic zombies
* Killing players
- The quests system has been completely redesigned from scratch
* The new system is more efficient and informative
* All bugs when certain actions were not counted are fixed now
[Other]
- Numerous optimizations related to active gameplay
* We aimed to increase FPS and stability during active shooting involving a large number of players
* Unique optimization techniques were developed for map objects, vehicles, and sounds
* Despite the large number of new changes, we expect an increase in average FPS
- Now the cost of items in Loot Shop (F1) will be 2 times higher (x2) for the first 4 minutes after player spawn / death
* We consider this a compromise compared to completely blocking purchases
* The multiplier (x2) is also experimental and may change in the future
- Now player loses score points if killed by another player and gains score by killing players (the score value is based on player level)
- Added a new special skill (the ability to sprint with weapon in hand) (500000 progress points)
- Added a boombox (radio station) to bases market
- Changed spawn coordinates of military helicopter (Steel Sheet)
- If you coat yourself with the boss's blood then dogs will protect you
- Now if you coat yourself with blood while bleeding then you will become infected
- If you drink 3 bottles of Vodka: the infection is removed
- If you drink 4 bottles of Vodka: the player vomits every 15 seconds for a minute
- If you drink 5 bottles of Vodka: 30% of radiation is removed
- If you drink 6 bottles of Vodka: +1 score point
- Added the ability to get Wood Pile once from trees that cannot be cut down
- Added the ability to place 3D markers that are visible to nearby teammates (ping)
* Markers are placed while aiming with weapon by pressing the mouse wheel
* The button can be changed using User Panel [F2]
* Markers are visible on the extended compass
- Vehicle inventory can no longer be used while driving (the vehicle needs to stand in one place)
- Added the ability to use Molotov and Gas Bottle in military traps
- When performing an action that takes longer than 10 seconds, the player will have increased food and water consumption
- Added the ability to use certain commands such as /unbug via global chat
- Adrenaline now removes the black and white screen when blood is low
- Players can now run quickly with a broken leg (there will be high blood loss, each jump removes 100-300 blood units) (scream of pain)
- Completely redesigned object placement system
* Added visual preview of how the object will be placed
* Added the ability to rotate and move the object with buttons
* When placing a tent, the loot boundary is visible and it is clearly indicated whether the current location is suitable for full tent protection or not
- Tents can no longer be placed at the spawn coordinates of zombies, bots or near vertical ladders
- We designed a new and more advanced way to increase running speed of players and zombies, it's no longer dependent on FPS difference
- Disabled the alivetime and mileage counters inside bases
- Water now extinguishes burning players
- Improved mortar and BM-21 targeting accuracy
- The military box at AREA 51 now changes its position
* The box is marked on the map
* Zombies spawn around the box if server online is below 10
* The items list has been reworked
* Loot in this box is refreshed more often
- The Patriot Pack (box with flags) has been removed from loot points
- The rented base icon is now updated in real time (except for RU/UA and Moscow servers)
- The running generator now constantly consumes fuel during idle state
[Tutorial]
- Added a new modular interactive tutorial system
- Various training modules are disabled when the player levels up and after completing actions
- The following types of training for new players have been implemented:
* Getting to understand the inventory and performing basic actions in the inventory
* Introduction to loot points, searching for and using loot - using weapons as an example
* Introduction to car assembly: searching for and installing missing components
* Help in finding food/water and medicine
* Building a route to the necessary objects and loot points
* Introduction to basic methods of fighting zombies: hiding, killing
* At level 0, zombies are highlighted and an indicator shows the optimal point for shooting
* For beginners without a team, there is an option to offer to synchronize the GPS frequency via the menu which appears when you approach a player
* For newbies without a team who run together for a while, an offer to create a team will be made
* Added tips for controlling the fishing rod: fishing
- In the future we plan to expand this system to teach about other features of the game
[Interface]
- We made it easier to understand the features of our gamemode
- Hospitals on the map are now always marked with an icon
- The humanity icon (head) is now highlighted around the edges when friendly bots see and can attack the player
- Added a danger indicator (a progress bar appears on the screen if there are dangerous zombies/bots nearby)
- Added a new option to User Panel (F2) - to disable "3D effect" for radio stations
- Added a new spawn sector selection map after death
* It's now possible to select spawn on "Air Drop" location when the /airdrop command is enabled
- Added the ability to use specific items in the inventory of tents and loot points
* For example you can immediately eat food from a loot point without transferring it to your inventory
* In case of crafting, you need to move all required items into the tent and use the right mouse button in the tent inventory
* Currently it's available for 20 different actions with items
- Added the ability to use an item by moving it to the center of the inventory
- Added a button for quickly selecting random character clothing (CJ)
- Added a new option to switch to the desired weapon slot using the number keys: 1, 2, 3 (optional)
- Added a visual and audio indicator for completing quest tasks
- Improved the quality of loot icons in the inventory
- The character editor (before login) now displays all skins that the player can unlock by leveling up
- Improved the game map interface (F11)
* Added information about current location
* Added information about what can and cannot be done at the selected point on the map
* It is now possible to select any icon on the map and quickly switch between all icons of this type
* Separate route to the selected icon
* New icon to display the required area for active quest tasks
* New panel for displaying loot points on the map with the ability to select the desired loot types and change the size of dots
- Some interface windows now adjusted to screen resolution in order to provide more data on high resolution monitors
- Add a close button (cross) in top right corner of all main interface windows
[New effects]
- When killed in the head, the head will now visually fly off
- When a Sunflower zombie is hit in the head, an effect and sound of broken glass has been added
- Killing with large-caliber rifles explodes the target into pieces
- The player is exploded to pieces if killed by a heavy zombie or boss
- Zombies are exploded to pieces by a bulldozer bucket (Dozer)
- Adding various belching sounds after drinking Soda Bottle
- Chance of getting diarrhea after eating canned food (5%)
- Many new songs after drinking alcohol. Combinations of different sounds:

[Bug fixes]

- ID 506 should only have one exhaust pipe
- Damage to the Siren Head is not registered properly from static machine guns
- Shotguns deal abnormally high damage to vehicles
- A player lying on the ground stands up if hit by a shotgun
- Vertical ladders under water do not reduce oxygen level
